Miss Donna's Place 2019 Summer Adventures


Summer Adventures for children ages 3 and up, offers a 4 or 5 day, morning, afternoon, or full day session, with extended hours after 4:30pm for working families.  Drive home service can be provided at 4:30pm.  Please email me if extended hours or drive home service is desired.  

There's never a dull moment at Miss Donna's Place!   Our students are always given opportunities to learn about nature, develop self-confidence, and be physically active.  All children in both sessions will have the opportunity to experience the places and spaces of MDP property, as well as our daily field trips.

Every Thursday, all children will participate in our CARNIVAL event, which is a highly charged event we plan for all week long. The children will come home with a bag full of goodies that they have purchased with tickets earned all throughout the week.


Morning Program 

8:30-11:30  (Mon-Thu) or (Mon-Fri)
The half-day morning Summer Adventures program is designed for children age 3 and up.  It is designed to foster the child’s curiosity, self-esteem, and independence. Each day, children will have the opportunity to enjoy the many places and spaces of the MDP property, as well as, enjoy crafts, and activities to foster their growth and development. Beginner tennis lessons and other cooperative games will be played each day, as well as, time for water fun.  


Afternoon Program  

12:00-4:30 (Mon-Thu) or (Mon-Fri)

The afternoon Summer Adventures program is designed for children age 3 and up.  Daily adventures will be offered to encourage children’s curiosity and self-esteem. There will also be a daily physical component where different ball games or (the NEW) game series are used to promote team building and problem solving.  Off-site activities might include, beachcombing at Nantasket, hikes in Wompatuck, fishing, tennis, frogging, and salamander hunting.
