The parent handbook outlines all of my policies and procedures that relate to the care of your child as well as the information that I'm required to give to you when you enroll your child in my care. This handbook will also acquaint you with some of the key Early Education and Care standards designed to ensure a safe, healthy, and educational experience for your child. Please always feel free to call me, as I want to maintain an open dialogue as much as possible.
Please read all 4 tabs to the left as this includes all you need to know from my Handbook. It is required that you complete and sign the "Family Child Care Enrollment Packet", under the FORMS tab, which also contains a section on page 3 acknowledging that you read this handbook.
Donna T. Ward
Thanks to our strong educational curriculum, outstanding staff and committment to early childhood learning and development, Miss Donna's Place stands out from other Hingham institutions. We offer a specialized preschool, pre-K and kindergarten program for children between the ages of three and six.
We strive to provide each individual child with an environment that encourages self-discovery and a commitment to learning. Children are encouraged to learn how to solve problems, release their creativity and build social skills. All in all, our curriculum lays the foundation for a lifetime of learning.
We adhere to the highest standards of educational and child development. What's more, our dedicated staff has the experience and know-how to put these principles to work for each and every child. Miss Donna's Place carefully screens and interviews all teachers to ensure that they meet our high educational standards.
The unique environment of Miss Donna's Place allows children to learn and develop skills sets not found in other programs, as well opportunities for creative learning and exploration.
Ultimately, we have but one goal: foster the head, hands, heart and spirit of each child.
